Note on Mother 2 - This is the latest English translated release which isn't yet perfected - It's partially translated. The main story and vital characters involved in the story will all be in English, as well as the menus, battles and map. Random non-vital characters dialogue will appear gibberish. This is noticeable after the first half an hour when you get the chance to explore the town of Onett.
The save function (when you use the telephone) will appear gibberish after its second usage. However, simply pressing 'A' until you see the prompt which says 'Record?' then pressing 'A' again will save your progress.
